Matthew Laraway Joins CBRE as Senior Vice President

CBRE today announced that Matthew Laraway, a top industrial real estate broker in the Mid-Atlantic region, has joined the firm’s Baltimore office as a Senior Vice President. Laraway, who served as a Vice President at CBRE from 2005 to 2008, will be returning to the firm and will work with the industrial team which includes Bill Pellington, Toby Mink, and Jon Casella, among others.

Prior to joining CBRE, Laraway was an Executive Vice President and Partner at Chesapeake Real Estate Group (CREG) where he led the firm's transactional activities including all leasing, capital markets and joint venture relationships. Before his tenure with CREG, Laraway was a Senior Director in the industrial practice group at Cushman & Wakefield where he was annually recognized as a top industrial broker. During his 25-year career, he has represented many of the nation’s top institutional owners including Prologis, USAA Real Estate, First Industrial, EQT Exeter and PGIM Real Estate/Prudential.
Laraway is on the Board of Directors for Maryland’s National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and is a member and past president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) MD/DC/NOVA Chapter. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Northeastern University.
