CBRE has been awarded the leasing assignment for multiple build-to-suit industrial opportunities in southwest San Antonio, Texas, that will provide tenants direct access to Union Pacific Railroad’s 32,000-mile network and access to markets across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
The site boasts 657 developable acres within the San Antonio Logistics Park, a premier industrial logistics and manufacturing park co-located with Union Pacific’s state-of-the-art San Antonio Intermodal Terminal (SAIT). The site is located directly on the Interstate 35 corridor – a primary artery in the international supply chain, connecting San Antonio, Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, Mexico and the rest of the U.S. Prospective tenants will also benefit from great access to talent and labor and a growing pool of potential employees.
Union Pacific owns the site and has partnered with Panattoni Development Company to develop the industrial park which will have direct rail service and intermodal access. At full buildout, the site could accommodate over 7 million square feet of industrial and logistics space.
Josh Aguilar, Rob Burlingame, and Brad O’Neill of CBRE's Industrial & Logistics group in San Antonio will lead marketing efforts for the industrial park.
“We are excited to bring this unique opportunity to market which is strategically located off of Interstate 35 and directly adjacent to Union Pacific’s existing and active Intermodal Terminal,” said Mr. Aguilar, Executive Vice President with CBRE. “This unparalleled opportunity will provide users with not only great highway access but both rail and intermodal flexibility and optionality.”
