CBRE has arranged the 28,857 sq. ft. lease of retail space at Plaza at the Point, an outdoor shopping center in North Fayette Township, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
CBRE’s Herky Pollock and John Jackson represented the landlord, Kossman Development Company, in the transaction. The tenant is Arhaus The Loft, a furniture store opening a new location in the Pittsburgh market. Z. Scott Smith of Hanna Langholz Wilson Ellis represented the tenant in the transaction.
Located at 100-190 Quinn Dr., Plaza at the Pointe is now 100% leased with tenants including Old Navy, Sportsman’s Warehouse, La-Z-Boy Furniture and Bob’s Discount Furniture among other national and local tenants. The shopping center has 581 parking spaces on site, access to Interstate 376 and the PA Turnpike, and around 252,000 residents within 20 minutes of the site.
“When Bed Bath and Beyond went bankrupt and closed all their existing stores we were concerned that we may have a challenge in replacing them with a quality tenant,” said Steve Weisbrod, Vice President at Kossman. “In fact, the amount of interest that we had in the space and the ultimate outcome of securing Arhaus The Loft exceeded our expectations and enabled us to enhance the shopping center tenant mix.”
“To procure such a prestigious tenant for this vacancy, and so quickly, was a collaborative effort of which we are hugely proud,” said Pollock, an Executive Vice President with CBRE. “This is a tremendous outcome for Plaza at the Pointe and speaks volumes about not only the center but also the entire trade area.”
Arhaus The Loft is expected to occupy the space in the second quarter of 2024.
