CBRE Advises on Sale of Sutter Medical Plaza in Sacramento

CBRE has arranged the sale of Sutter Medical Plaza, a 143,210-square-foot medical outpatient building (MOB) located at 1625 Stockton Boulevard, Sacramento, California to a fund sponsored by Hines.

Chris Bodnar, Brannan Knott, Zack Holderman, Cole Reethof, Trent Jemmett and Jesse Greshin of CBRE U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets, in collaboration with Jason Goff from CBRE’s Sacramento Advisory and Transaction team, served as exclusive advisors to the seller.

The two-story facility was custom-built in 2009 by Boulder Associates, a leading healthcare design and architecture firm, to meet the specific requirements of the tenant, Sutter Health. Sutter Health recently renewed its lease, continuing its role as a center of excellence for pediatric outpatient care. The facility provides a range of pediatric subspecialties, along with on-site imaging and clinical laboratory services.

Strategically located within Sacramento’s Medical Triangle, Sutter Medical Plaza is in proximity to Sutter Medical Center Sacramento (523 beds), Mercy General Hospital (419 beds) and UC Davis Medical Center (646 beds), totaling 1,588 beds within a one-mile radius.

Located on a 5-acre parcel, the MOB is conveniently near Sutter Medical Center, which accounts for a significant portion of Sacramento County’s inpatient discharges, as per Definitive Healthcare.
