CBRE announced that Kansas-based Flint Development has acquired 94 acres of land in Boise’s Airport submarket and has broken ground on a 900,981-square-foot speculative cross-dock industrial building, Idaho’s largest-ever speculative industrial building.
Jake Miller, SIOR and Harrison Sawyer of CBRE in Boise represented Flint Development in the acquisition and have been retained to lease the facility, which has been named the Red River Logistics Center.
Located at 951 E. Gowen Road, the Red River Logistics Center is less than a half-mile to Interstate 84. The building will feature 40-foot clear height, 172 dock-high doors, and can accommodate large-scale distribution and light-industrial companies. The building is scheduled to deliver in the first quarter of 2023.
“Delivering a spec building of this size to the Boise market will help meet the needs of large-scale tenants looking to plant a flag in our state,” said CBRE’s Miller. “Flint Development recognized this rare, crown-jewel of an opportunity and capitalized on it, we are honored to have represented them in this historic transaction. We look forward to assisting them in the leasing of this project.”
“Boise Valley Economic Partnership is thrilled for the Red River Logistic Center, New Class A Industrial Building,” said Clark Krause, Executive Director of Boise Valley Economic Partnership, an economic development agency. “With industrial inventory at an all-time low, this addition is truly needed right now. Great work to the CBRE team and looking forward to all the potential that will come with this space.”
