Professional Experience
As Chief Administrative Officer, Chandra Dhandapani provides executive oversight for CBRE’s Digital & Technology, People, Marketing, Research, Corporate Communications, Supply Chain and Corporate Real Estate organizations.
Ms. Dhandapani joined CBRE in 2016 to lead the company’s digital strategy and all aspects of technology globally. She and her team provide the technology capabilities and infrastructure to support CBRE’s clients and professionals across the globe. Since joining the company, Ms. Dhandapani has turbocharged CBRE’s approach to leveraging technology as an enabler, assembled a high performing team, and strengthened CBRE’s expertise in harnessing data as a differentiator.
In light of Ms. Dhandapani’s strong background in transforming organizations and creating high-performing teams, she was named Chief Administrative Officer in July 2020 and assumed responsibility for CBRE’s People, Marketing and Research organizations. She added responsibility for Corporate Communications, Supply Chain and Corporate Real Estate in January 2021.
Ms. Dhandapani has a proven record of developing and executing enterprise-level digital strategies that support business objectives, improve client outcomes and drive growth. Prior to joining CBRE, she was a senior technology executive at Capital One Financial for 17 years. Most recently, she served as Digital Transformation Leader and Chief Information Officer of the bank’s Financial Services division, comprised of Capital One Auto Finance, Mortgage, Home Equity and Home Loans Servicing.
Ms. Dhandapani serves as a member of CBRE’s Executive Committee and is based in Dallas, Texas, USA.
